Málaga / London. Friday, October 17, 2025. The esports organization GIANTX conquers another international peak. Following the recent Men's Valorant World Championship in Paris, where the squad secured a notable Top 8 finish, the women's team has officially qualified for their own World Championship, set to take place in Seoul, South Korea.
The GIANTX women's roster is one of the most prominent in Game Changers, the professional circuit featuring the world's elite female players. In just a year and a half, they have secured three consecutive EMEA runner-up finishes and two third-place spots, never missing the podium since their debut in 2024. The qualification was secured via points after advancing through the playoff rounds.
A Historic Milestone in Esports
With this qualification for the Valorant Game Changers Championship 2025, GIANTX returns to the global stage for another year. The organization cements its place as one of only two clubs in the world —alongside Team Liquid— to have competed in both Men's and Women's World Championships in the same calendar year. G2 Esports could potentially join this elite group soon.
Global Stage: Seoul will host the 2025 Championship from November 20th to 30th. Only ten squads will battle for international glory.
The team, led by Aska, has shown significant improvement following the addition of Smurfette. Their recent 2-0 victory against AlQadsiah Corals moves the Giants into the next playoff round, just two wins away from reaching their fourth consecutive EMEA final.
